Professional experience

Learning through production software.

At Laxson Solutions Inc., I contribute to Conexgo using C#/.NET, Blazor and MudBlazor. My internship and subsequent part-time role have let me connect interface development, debugging and testing.

Software Developer, Part-time

I continue working with the team alongside my studies. I contribute fixes and improvements to Conexgo while taking its existing behaviour and affected workflows into account.

  • Improve Blazor/MudBlazor interfaces, forms, filters and reusable components.
  • Check changes across roles and screen sizes, using repeatable Playwright scenarios.
  • Use logs, Git diffs and Release builds to investigate issues and verify fixes.

Software Development Intern

This internship was my first experience with production software. I learned to find my way through a shared codebase and reproduce an issue before making a change.

  • Contribute to existing Blazor/MudBlazor interfaces and components.
  • Prepare role-based Playwright scenarios with reusable sessions, screenshots and traces.
  • Connect QA tools to Visual Studio using C#, Node.js and PowerShell, and investigate interface and authentication issues.

What I’m taking from this experience

Habits I’m still building.

Read with a purpose

Start from observed behaviour and follow the connections between the interface, data and existing logic.

Look beyond the fix

A change can work on one screen and affect another role or state. I look for those effects too.

Make checks repeatable

Playwright scenarios, screenshots and traces help the team see what was checked and run those checks again.
