Back to projects

Find your way back into the day’s work.

DevFlow Studio

DevFlow Studio brings tasks, projects, focus sessions and technical notes together. It starts with a workspace that runs in the browser, keeps its core data local and leaves cloud capabilities optional.

A personal project in active development.

Behind the project

From the need to the development choices.

01

The starting point

When tasks, notes and priorities are scattered, getting back to work takes effort of its own. I wanted to explore a workspace that helps recover the day’s context without depending on a remote service for every action.

02

My contribution

I work on how tasks, projects and the journal fit together in one workspace. My priorities include React/TypeScript workflows, consistent local data, tests and the boundaries of optional cloud features.

03

What the application brings together

  • A Today view for priorities, tasks, focus and the agenda.
  • Project and task views with filters, statuses and locally saved context.
  • A developer journal, weekly review and insights from local activity.
  • A planning assistant, plus import, export and recovery tools.
04

Choices that shape the project

  • IndexedDB and Dexie underpin the core workspace: local storage is the product’s primary data store.
  • Supabase capabilities stay optional and separate from local tasks, projects and journals.
  • Typed models, validation and tests help track changes. Workflows are also revisited for smaller screens.
05

What this project is teaching me

This project pushes me to define smaller features within a growing application. Data migrations and consistency between screens need as much attention as the next new idea.
